From what we've seen, Zoom Property Buyer has a solid reputation, with positive reviews on Trustpilot highlighting their friendly, straightforward approach.
However, while they claim to have completed over 10,000 agreed sales, the number of online reviews is surprisingly limited.
That said, the available feedback points to a professional service with good customer support.
Here are some of the recent reviews:
I was kept informed the entire time and the sale went through without any issues. Thanks
- Mehedi
They took the time to detail all the next steps and the process was smooth. Thanks for everything
- Sabina
However, it's important to note that not all customers were happy with the service they received.
Some have voiced frustration over their approach and low offers.
An example of this comes from a review from Tiyana, who said:
If you are looking for a quick sale from an ACTUAL CASH buyer then AVOID. Let me put you on to how this actually works because they wont tell you. They instruct the solicitor to get you to sign a conditional contract which has an exteneded date (way past what you agreed) to send around RIC surveyors and other checks. The contract also states they can pull out of the sell without giving a reason. Heres the kicker. They will put your property up for auction without telling you, as THEY DONT ACTUALLY HAVE THE CASH THEMSELVES TO BUY YOUR PROPERY!!! Effectively they are the middle man. They work as an estate agent and take a big profit off the top. Check their financial records on companies house, they dont have the funds. Just put your house up for auction and get all the money. Dont waste your time here with the middle man. You've been warned
- Tiyana
In a Trustpilot review, another client stated:
Avoid at all costs....this company as mentioned below told us that the sale turnaround would only take 4 weeks. After agreeing a price with their underwriters and spending so much time completing paperwork for the solicitor they decide to offer an unconditional offer based on surveys.
Fair enough but these surveys actually never took place and was all in their plan to bide time to look for potential buyers.
This became apparent when they collected the key for the said survey but then accidentally advised that the client didn't turn up to view.
After reaching the long stop date we were then advised that the underwriter had decided not to agree the initial purchase price due to a discrepancy with the precieved market value.
They then requested to continue looking for a potential buyer through their perceived network of investors.
They are complete time wasters who never mentioned from the off that this was the way they worked. Had we known we may as well have marketed the property ourselves as opposed to having it marketed on the unknown and spent the time looking for a new tenant.
They are time wasters who are just out to look for a potential property to flip to ensure they make a profit with a guaranteed sale from their side.
- Karen
It’s worth noting that Zoom Property Buyer hasn’t responded to any of these reviews.
Although some customers may have found the experience frustrating, others praised the company for its quick and hassle-free service.
Here's what customers are saying about selling their home in just two weeks:
They acted quickly and finalized the sale within seven days. The team explained every step and covered all legal fees.
On the plus side, they made an offer within an hour of my inquiry and the sale was completed in under 10 days. I recommend them if you want to sell your house.

How Much Below Market Value Does Zoom Property Buyer Offer?
Zoom Property Buyer will pay up to 85% of market value. However, the actual offer can vary depending on factors such as property location, condition, and the overall state of the market.
Here's some advice from our property expert Paul:
"Most quick-sale companies, including Zoom Property Buyer, tend to offer around 75–85% of your property’s market value. That discount reflects the speed of the service and any costs they might take on, like repairs or resale risks.
It’s worth considering whether that trade-off makes sense for you — it really comes down to your financial situation and how urgently you need to sell.”
What are the Pros & Cons of Using Zoom Property Buyer
While Zoom Property Buyer offers a fast and straightforward alternative to the open market, it’s worth weighing up the benefits against the potential trade-offs.
Pros of using Zoom Property Buyer:
- Speed: The potential to complete a sale within a week is significantly faster than traditional methods.
- No Fees: Sellers avoid estate agent and solicitor fees, potentially saving thousands.
- Any Condition: Properties in any condition, including those unmortgageable or in disrepair, are considered.
- Recognised Memberships: Zoom Property Buyer is a member of The Property Ombudsman (TPO) and the National Association of Property Buyers (NAPB), and is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) — offering added reassurance around transparency, data protection, and fair practice.

Cons of using Zoom Property Buyer:
- Below Market Offers: Cash offers may be below full market value to account for the quick sale and associated risks.
- Limited Customer Reviews: Unlike some competitors, Zoom Property Buyer doesn’t have a large volume of online reviews, which can make it harder for sellers to gauge past customer experiences or trustworthiness at a glance.
- Little Team Transparency: The website doesn’t provide details about who’s behind the business, which may leave some sellers wanting more reassurance.
Zoom Property Buyer vs Other Quick Sale Companies
Below, we’ve highlighted some of the key differences, such as average sale time, hidden fees and more, compared to other UK house buyers, such as Ask Susan, We Buy any Home, Smooth Sale, Express Offers, and Ready Steady Sell
Quick Sale Firms
- Takes 2-4 weeks to find a buyer
- Some firms charge hidden fees
- Won't always buy any type of home
- Can take months if not true cash buyers
- Some firms do not offer complete confidentiality

In our expert opinion, Zoom Property Buyer sets itself apart with its strong regulatory framework and reputation.
However, when comparing companies, homeowners should assess additional factors like legal fee coverage, flexibility in negotiations, and transparency in valuations, which can vary significantly between providers.
More advice from our Property Expert Paul:
"When selling to Zoom Property Buyer or any other quick-sale company, I always suggest checking their regulatory credentials and financial position before proceeding.
I also recommend asking for their most recent proof of funds and verifying their current NAPB membership status. This gives you peace of mind that you're dealing with a genuine buyer who can actually deliver on their promised timeframe."
Zoom Property Buyer - Our Verdict
Zoom Property Buyer delivers on its promise of speed, flexibility, and simplicity — particularly for homeowners in difficult situations or those needing a quick way out. With over 50 years of combined industry experience and a willingness to buy almost any property, even those in poor condition, they clearly understand the challenges faced by sellers outside the typical market.
From our perspective, they’ve built a reputation that aligns with these claims. Their in-house team, no-fee model, and personal approach (including face-to-face visits) all help set them apart in an industry that can often feel faceless or rushed.
However, as with any quick-sale company, there’s a trade-off. While the process is smooth and stress-free, sellers are likely to receive less than full market value. Plus, the limited number of public reviews might leave some homeowners wanting more reassurance before making a decision.
If speed and certainty matter more to you than squeezing every last penny from your sale, Zoom Property Buyer is a solid option worth considering.
