Was very sceptical about these companies , but no need to worry with House Buy Fast ! from initial first enquiries through to completion of the sale , service was first class. Price agreed at onset of negotiations, no knocking price down at the last minute, and the Solicitors these guys use are also first class and extremely helpful. Awful service! Rude, aggressive, didn't listen, didn't carry out due process and tried to keep us to an online contract with no cooling pff period. We hoped to sell our house through House Buy Fast. Alfred seemed attentive at first but when I had to chase him numerous times we decided we didn't want to do business with them. I called, and emailed numerous times to cancel the process and when Alfred finally did call us back he was rude, aggressive, wouldn't listen and couldn't see that due process had not been followed. Leaving us with no alternative but to contact the Property Ombudsman.

This company arranged to have 2 estate agent valuations done. 3 days later, their agent texted and said he had the valuations back, they were with the underwriters and he would be in touch later that day or the next day. I then heard nothing further. I emailed in reply to his initial email (so the address was right) and texted both numbers he had texted from. Later tried to call the mobile when I had heard nothing but a message said the number did not exist. Today I looked for a landline number for the company and called them. I was told the agent I had spoken to had been on holiday and was passed to someone else. This person told me he had called me and left a message previously - I had no missed calls or messages. He said the valuations had come back far lower than expected…

At the start of the process, we were not aware that part of the property was Grade II listed, or that there was a building site nearby. Had this been known earlier, we agree it could have saved time for everyone involved. We have taken this feedback seriously and are reviewing our initial fact finding process to help avoid similar situations in the future.

I called House Buy Fast, due to a my property being on the market a little while and I needed to secure a sale in a timely fashion. I spoke to Duncan, who was extremely professional and talked in through the whole process of the options the company offered. What I liked about Duncan, was at no time did he push me into selling my house, he didn’t promise me the world. What he did do was explain about any losses I would make if I went for a quick cash buy and he advised, to sit tight and push my original agent, which I did and sold. As a result of Duncan honesty and transparency, I have recommended him and his company and would not hesitate doing business with him in the future. I would highly recommend Duncan and the team.
