How Quick Move Now Works

The company claims that selling your house quickly can be done in 4 simple steps:

  1. Get in touch: The first step involves contacting the company by calling them directly or filling out the form on their website for a cash offer. During this process, the company will collect as much information as possible about your property, enabling them to provide you with an initial cash offer.
  2. Get a formal offer: After the company has completed an independent valuation, which might involve sending an independent estate agent to view your property in person, you’ll receive a formal, no-obligation offer. Note that you do not have to accept the company’s offer. Your formal cash offer is valid for 7 days. After that time, the company reserves the right to do a re-appraisal on your property.
  3. Choose your completion date: If you choose to accept the offer, the company will proceed to discuss your requirements in detail, allowing you to set a completion date that’s convenient for you. Because Quick Move Now already has the funds to buy your home, they can sometimes close sales in as little as 7 days.
  4. Complete the sale: If you choose to use their recommended solicitor, Quick Move Now will pay all legal fees associated with the sale. However, there’s no obligation to use their solicitor, and you may choose your own. Finally, once all the legal paperwork is filled out and completed between solicitors, the sale can be completed, and you’ll receive the cash funds directly into your bank account.

  • Not suitable for all properties: Quick Move Now specializes in buying properties in any condition. However, some properties may not be suitable for their service due to location or legal issues.

As a company that prides itself on its transparency, This Trustpilot review from Bilal Anjum appears to confirm that fact:

I spoke to Jerome in regards to selling my house. Even though I didn't get the offer I was hoping for, he was absolutely 100% honest about how he thought us going down this route wasn't the best idea. Normally I would have expected some sort of scam but he was really honest about not wanting to waste my time which I absolutely appreciated

However, we should also note that while most of Quick Move Now’s reviews are positive, some customer experiences were sub-par, leading to poor reviews.

For instance, one customer accused the company of having “aggressive low-balling tactics.”

I put a request in online assuming it was a quick check and offer. They called me 4 times a day for the next week until I blocked their number when they finally sent an email stating they would offer us less than 70% of the value. Would definitely avoid.

Quick Move Now - Our Final Verdict

Based on their website, customer reviews, and third-party sources, we believe Quick Move Now is a highly reputable house-buying company.

Their website is very user-friendly, making it easy for potential customers to find any information they’re looking for or to start the selling process by filling out a form to obtain a no-obligation cash offer.

Regarding their claim about being the “UK’s leading home buyer,” we believe they are among the companies we’ve reviewed.

In the past, we’ve reviewed similar companies with far less industry experience and sold far fewer properties.

For example, when we reviewed The Property Buying Company, we found that they’d only sold some 900 properties. And, when we reviewed Property Solvers, they only claimed to have closed 500+ properties.

On the other hand, Quick Move Now was established in 1998 and has closed more than 6000 properties, making them one of the most experienced property buyers we’ve seen thus far.

On top of all that, they have dozens of positive reviews from satisfied customers and are registered with several monitoring organisations, such as The Property Ombudsman, the British Property Federation, the National Association of Property Buyers, and Carbon Footprint,

In the end, while we have found some customer reviews that weren’t all that great, the vast majority of reviews state that the customer had a positive experience dealing with the company.
