I'm a bit worried about dealing with a cash buyer. Is the process complicated?
According to Jessica Becconsall the process of selling with House Buy Fast is extremely easy.
Extremely quick with selling out house and very friendly staff, quick at responses.
Even the solicitors they use were friendly and quick. Highly recommend
Even some of those who, for whatever reason, decided not to work with the company, left pleasant reviews commending the company on their friendly and professional attitude.
Although I didn’t end up selling through HBF (my personal circumstances changed), my interaction with Mitch was excellent. He was professional, polite and always quick to respond. Good communication in any transaction is key and in this case it was faultless
However, we’ve found a few other reviews that don't bode so well for the company.
Yet not everyone was as tolerating of their low offer. The majority of bad reviews on Trustpilot highlight that offers received were too far below market value to be acceptable.
They ask you before leaving review "what went wrong this time and to be honest". well I am being 100% honest with this review. More than they were with me. They may be one of the largest property buyers with there own funds but as I learned they were very economical with the truth, 3 days before signing contracts there agreed date and price the stated by e mail and a phone call that there surveyors report had come back with a lower valuation the valuers had and they would need to lower the price they had offered in writing buy about 20K. They lull you into a false sense of security and at the last minute back you against the wall hoping you have no where else to go and you will just roll over for them. Not a way to do business and gain respect of your customers
That being said, we should mention that House Buy Fast has responded to this review in a friendly and professional manner. They've apparently attempted to find a suitable solution to the customer's complaint, and have had the entire case reviewed by The Property Ombudsman.

Ultimately House Buy Fast have demonstrated that they acted appropriately and in accordance with best practice… I am satisfied that the (sellers) made an informed decision to sell the property to House Buy Fast … and the timescale between the offer and their acceptance persuades me that they were not pressured in to selling at this price and were aware that they could achieve more money for the property if they sold it via other means.

According to Joanne Braddock, they have "amazing customer service!" The staff at House Buy Fast has been very friendly and helpful in helping to assuage her concerns and answer he questions regarding the sale of her home.

One of the worst reviews we could find of the company come from a customer who states their experience was "disasterous!"
It was an awful , very stressful experience. I was contacted by several different companies and i was not happy with that ,nor did I agree to that. None of the staff appeared to communicate with each other and would ask me what their team member was up to in the process. Everything was a disaster from start to finish. I would never use them again!
And while this might seem like a terrible thing to hear about a company, we should note that House Buy Fast has responded to this negative review, looked into the case, stating that "everything went smoothly until we could not gain access to the property at the agreed time - the person who answered the door had no idea it was being sold."
