Although I didn’t end up selling through HBF (my personal circumstances changed), my interaction with Mitch was excellent. He was professional, polite and always quick to respond. Good communication in any transaction is key and in this case it was faultless
However, we’ve found a few other reviews that don't bode so well for the company.
Yet not everyone was as tolerating of their low offer. The majority of bad reviews on Trustpilot highlight that offers received were too far below market value to be acceptable.
They ask you before leaving review "what went wrong this time and to be honest". well I am being 100% honest with this review. More than they were with me. They may be one of the largest property buyers with there own funds but as I learned they were very economical with the truth, 3 days before signing contracts there agreed date and price the stated by e mail and a phone call that there surveyors report had come back with a lower valuation the valuers had and they would need to lower the price they had offered in writing buy about 20K. They lull you into a false sense of security and at the last minute back you against the wall hoping you have no where else to go and you will just roll over for them. Not a way to do business and gain respect of your customers

It was an awful , very stressful experience. I was contacted by several different companies and i was not happy with that ,nor did I agree to that. None of the staff appeared to communicate with each other and would ask me what their team member was up to in the process. Everything was a disaster from start to finish. I would never use them again!
