Let's take a look at what some people have had to say about working with Springbok Properties.

Springbok’s fast, stress-free, and professional property buying service are regularly mentioned in the most positive reviews.

On AllAgents, Karrie K. wrote:

Really great communication ...I rang and Ernest always called back very quickly so no hanging around. Got a sale within 4 weeks and it’s all going through now. Brilliant when you consider the state of the market. Ernest has been great and I've just recommended him to a friend wanting to sell their property too.

George Gleeson, another satisfied customer on Google also had a good experience with Springbok Properties, stating that they "have done exactly what they said they would!"

Springbok have done exactly what they said they would do so far!
Found us a cash buyer within 10 days, offer we were happy with accepted and deposit paid the same day. Everyone we've dealt with, from Callum and Jasmine at the start and then Ernest our sales negotiator have been great! Kept us in the look every step of the way. Hoping for a smooth and speedy completion which we've no doubt we will have based on our experience so far.

What's it like dealing with Springbok Properties' staff?

According to Amrit Kaur, Springbok Properties has a "very helpful and experienced staff."

Very helpful and experienced staff. Finish all process on time. Monisha Akhtar was dealing with us she was updating everything on time.

Amrit Kaur on Springbok Properties

So it seems that Springbok Properties' customer service and overall service is good.

But we all know it's impossible to keep everyone happy all the time, so what sort of negative things are people saying about dealing with the company?

What is the sale and cash offer process like? How will my property be evaluated?

According to Charlotte Ship, the company is a "terrible property agent."

Terrible property agent. They use remote agents for viewings that are late/ don’t turn up. The agents are regularly unavailable for calls on a Saturday when viewings take place. We were promised a portfolio of international investors, but we’re had less than 3 viewings in 6 months and they’ve all been poorly vetted and often cancelled last minute. Terrible customer service.

Charlotte Ship on Springbok Properties

And another unhappy customer, Samantha Kendall, claims the company is "unprofessional."

My negotiator Joanne Hooson was absolutely unreachable. Never answered her phone, never responded to messages and never called back! The company barely answer or return anything unless it’s something they need.
They wanted a £2500 deposit from me to ‘secure’ the property. However in order to do this they wanted a none refundable fee of £396! Never has this been an estate agent thing! The sellers still went ahead with our purchase, as we obviously want to buy, but I don’t want to be ripped off on route to getting my house when it’s absolutely unnecessary.

Charlotte Ship on Springbok Properties

We should note, however, that following both of these negative reviews, Springbok Properties responded in a professional manner, and looked into each complaint, claiming that they've done everything on their part accordingly.

Elysha Lacey also had a lot of negative things to say about Springbok’s customer service in a January 2024 Google review:

I can honestly say I have never received worse customer service in all my life!! Absolutely no communication after being moved over to the progression team. They would end my calls - I knew this because I would ring several times one after another and each time would ring different amount of times, some days I would call them 3-4 times and hear no reply. Emails ignored for days. It was nothing but stress, I wouldn’t pay the £2,500 reservation fee as it adds absolutely no benefit whatsoever. I would NEVER buy a property that was up for sale with this estate agents ever again!

Elysha Lacey on Springbok Properties

While the review appears extremely negative, the company responded and explained that they have a rescind their offer because a mine shaft was found within 20 meters of the property. Therefore, despite Mr. Aucott's unsatisfactory experience, the company had a good reason for their actions, and responded to the complaint in a polite and professional manner.

Is Springbok Properties a highly recommended company?

According to Rebecca Whiteside, yes, Springbok Properties is a highly reputable, and highly recommended for anyone looking to sell their properties in the UK.

I would highly recommend Springbok to others. We had tried unsuccessfully for over 12 months to sell a property. Jess was our sales negotiator and she was professional and helpful in every way. She kept in regular contact with us about potential buyers and their feedback.

How Much Below Market Value Do Springbok Properties Offer?

Springbok Properties claims to offer up to 100% of market value in certain cases through their assisted sales service. However, for direct cash sales, offers typically range between 70% to 85% of market value, depending on factors such as location, property condition, and market demand.

Here's some advice from our property expert Paul:

"'Most quick-sale companies, including Springbok Properties, operate within the 75-85% range of market value.

This discount reflects the speed and convenience offered, as well as potential refurbishment costs. Sellers should weigh whether the trade-off for speed is worth it based on their financial goals and timeline.”

How Does Springbok Properties Work?

Springbok Properties offers a streamlined process for selling properties quickly:

  • Request a valuation: Sellers can request a free valuation or cash offer online.
  • Property assessment: A RICS surveyor may inspect the property to determine its value.
  • Receive a legal offer: Based on the surveyor’s assessment, Springbok provides a cash offer.
  • Contract exchange: If accepted, legal contracts are exchanged, and ownership details are verified.
  • Cash transfer: Once the sale is finalized, funds are transferred directly to the seller’s bank account.

Can You Haggle With Springbok Properties?

Springbok Properties’ cash offers are based on market value and property condition. Negotiation may be limited since valuations are determined by a one-time RICS surveyor visit. However, sellers can discuss concerns directly with the company.

Our studies have shown that properties sold via quick-sale companies typically sell for 75-85% of market value, with variations depending on location and demand. This aligns with Springbok’s stated offers, but it’s always advisable for homeowners to independently verify their property’s market value before proceeding with any sale.

More advice from our Property Expert Paul:

"When choosing to sell with Springbok Properties or similar quick-sale companies, verify their regulatory status and financial proof upfront.
